How to reach Zakynthos

Your Greek holidays will not be complete without a short visit to the beautiful island of Zakynthos, one of the Ionian islands in the Ionian Sea. Zakynthos is a tourist haven and a major destination for visitors to Greece mainly because of the attraction of its many beautiful beaches and coves which are littered with shipwrecks which make for excellent diving and snorkeling in its warm, azure waters. Getting here to Zakynthos from the mainland is quite easy, the easiest option is to take the ferry from Port Kyllini.

In order to visit Zakynthos you have to drive to Kyllini port and then take the ferry boat to Zakynthos.

If you want to travel by plane there are every day flights from the airport of Spata to the airport of Zakynthos. The flight lasts about 50 minutes.
