The camping Tartaruga in Zante, is located at the southern part of Laganas bay and has consecutive years of successful operation since 1992.
In the camping' s facilities you will meet many terraces with large perennial olive trees.
Since 2000 and after, there have been planted over 400 trees from the friendly owners who look after the area, motivated by their passion for camping.
So shady and cool places are reserved, even the in warmest summer period at Zakynthos on August.
Also the small and large terraces formed by the numerous trees and bushes can ensure even on high-traffic period the necessary distance from the neighbors.
The facilities extend from the camping' s tavern with the awesome view ,until close to the narrow beach decorated by the small pebbles and clear waters.
If you want a quiet environment surrounded by nature, to fall asleep among the songs of cicadas and enjoy the wonderful Greek Mediterranean cuisine
or just to let your soul travel lying in a hammock hanging between two elderly olives, then this paradise is your place.
The hospitality of the camping owners is so well known on the island or travelers,
to the point where many visitors come every year to rest from their travels to other destinations, spending a week here relaxing.
The beach is 60m beneath the tavern next to the positions for the camping tents!
In the sea are placed some anchored buoys for fastening small vessels.
The famous turtle-shaped Marathonisi island is about 2.5 klm from the beach and you can explore it if you rent a small boat.
In the tavern you can eat delicious traditional food at very reasonable prices.
There is also a small mini-market where you can buy the necessities of your day.
And of course a camping ... for you that you wake up early in the morning, the sunrise and a dip in the sea guarantees for you a great start of your day.
